Where I'm From poem

Wiremus’ Poem
I am from sunshine beach
from cold winters and frosty mornings
I am from rugby in the front yard
(Hard hitting but lots of fun)
I am from bonfires on the beach
Catching fish for a feed
I am from hurricanes fans
I am Crusaders all the way
I am from impatient little brother
That is in trouble all the time
I am from know-it-alls
And pass-it-downs
From pick up your lip and don’t fall over it
I am from the mighty Bay
Where the gannets dive and the fish whinging
I am from nagging parents
And loving grandparents
I am from unknown cushions
And close relatives
I am from the bus on the way to school
After school too
I am from goldfish in cast iron baths
From budges in little cages
I am from bike riders and scooterfreaks
I am from the paradise of the pacific
from the land of the long white cloud known as New Zealand.
